The difference between a good and great video/photography shoot can happen days or weeks before the actual photoshoot. While life for all of us can be chaotic, it's important to plan well in advance.
If we’re shooting a video for you, a pre-production meeting to iron out all the nitty gritty including story board, locations, logistics …is worthwhile.
Does it sound complicated? Don’t sweat it, we love the details .i.e. doing the heavy lifting for our busy clients. We believe investing in a hair and make-up artist on a video/photo shoot can make great images spectacular. Wardrobe? If your inner stylist is working and you feel good about the choices you are bringing to the table, great. When you are at the planning stage, let's meet where possible to take stock of your options. We have wardrobe professionals on call who will work for a reasonable rate if you want additional help with your clothing choices.
Punctuality is important. You're paying for this, it's important you show up on time. Often we are utilising daylight, with a limited time window. Give yourself every chance to succeed, help us make your images memorable.
I'm Not a Model
Do I have to be a model to be photographed by Ok Sweetie? No! Of course not! Yes we do work with models for our advertising, ecommerce and editorial clients but more than half of our customers are regular people like you and I. Videos are so much fun for us to get creative and tell your story. It could be social media content for regular people who know the value of great content to kick start a new chapter in their life. Selfies are great to keep your social feed active but scheduling a photoshoot with us at least once a year can really give a boost to your social media and self promotions.
